- How much does it cost to get a car key made?

It's depending on the vehicle (Year, Make and Model) and the key design (Regular key, Chipped key or Smart key). 
For example 2006 Ford Explorer equipped with the anti theft system and you have to use chipped key for start your vehicle. That's mean we going to cut key and then program it to your car. After that you can start a vehicle. You can expect around $180 for this job.

- Is the lock permanently broken after you open it?

No. We use professional lock picking tool and this method will not damage the lock at all.
Exception is if the locking mechanism damaged then the lock will need to be replaced.

- My home key has been stolen. Do I need to change all the locks?

No. If your keys have potentially fallen into the wrong hands you don't need replace it. Possible to simply rekey existing locks , which is less expensive than replacing it.

-My car key won't let me turn in the ignition cylinder, can you fix it?

Yes, in most cases we can fix it. Most often this happens because the key blade is worn. In other cases, the ignition lock may be damaged. We can check everything on the spot and offer you the best option.

-What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept all major forms of  debit or credit cards like Visa, MasterCard, Amex, Discover. Also you can make a cash payment. Commercial company can pay by check.

Good advice if you accidentally locked out your car or house!

Do not panic. Check other doors or windows. Call your loved ones, maybe they have a duplicate key or they will help you find the right solution. After that you can search for local locksmith professionals who will help you.

 

Choosing locksmith note: The company should give you a price range over the phone. Just ask the time of arrival of the technician, it is usually 30-40 minutes. Read a review about the company, for example on Google my business or in social networks. Proper locksmith must be licensed by The Texas Department of Public Safety.
